What’s next after your apprenticeship or school? Explore tourism careers and study options, and talk to professionals and students. Tour Beaulieu, a venue for conferences, exhibitions and theatre, and discover the work behind a major event. Finish the day with «TRANSGRES-SUISSE», hosted by Lord Betterave, live at Montreux Comedy Festival.

Participation is free – including the Beaulieu tour and comedy show.

Event Information

  • Future in Tourism: Start by exploring the different roles and career paths in tourism.
  • Tourism schools: The schools jointly introduce the different options for studying tourism and continuing your education.
  • Lausanne Tourism: How does a tourism organisation work? Lausanne Tourism introduces its role in the destination and its day-to-day work. There is also time for your questions.
  • Meet & Match: Talk in small groups to tourism professionals about their work and how they started. Students share their experiences and answer your questions about studying tourism.
  • Discover Beaulieu: Conferences, exhibitions and theatre come together here. Explore Beaulieu on an interactive guided tour. The theatre manager explains how the comedy evening is organised.
  • TRANSGRES-SUISSE live: Finish the day together at the Montreux Comedy Festival show at Théâtre de Beaulieu, hosted by Lord Betterave.

For young people who are about to complete or have recently completed an apprenticeship, commercial training or the Swiss Matura and are interested in studying tourism.

You will receive the detailed programme, exact times and meeting point with your participation confirmation by email. You make your own way home after the show.
